Grace Billows, a teen, has sadly died. They found her dead after she planned to go to school. This happened on Tuesday, February 11. Her mom, Lisa, found Grace at home. She was unconscious on the floor.

Lisa told the ECHO about that Tuesday. She took her young daughter to the hospital. Grace was doing her hair then, ready for school. Later that day, Lisa came home from the hospital and found Grace on the bedroom floor.

The cause of death is still unknown right now. Lisa thinks it was probably a seizure. Grace had epilepsy since last year, and she also had Coeliac disease. Her mom said it never held her back though.

Lisa spoke to the ECHO about Grace. She said Grace was vibrant and full of life. She was stubborn, sarcastic, and funny, too. Grace loved learning about history so much she could talk about it always..

Grace had many plans for her future. She wanted to study history after school at KGV. English literature, language and drama were also on her list. Grace had so much to live for; she loved life.

History was truly Grace’s passion. She loved history TV shows, too. Lisa was very proud of her daughter. Grace was also very helpful at home, and she was very clean and tidy. It was part of her personality.

Lisa wanted to take Grace shopping soon. They’d planned to buy a prom dress. But sadly, Grace passed away suddenly. Lisa believes Grace would have succeeded and that she had many hopes and shared plans.

Grace’s funeral will be held at Thornton Crematorium. The time is 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Direct all questions to Debbie Bennett Funeral Directors.
