A former teacher confessed to indecently assaulting young pupils at a school that has since closed.

He taught music at Bramcote School, which was on Derby Road. The school closed in 2017 after 69 years, as part of a £20 million project.
The court says the crimes happened at school when the two girls were between 11 and 14. The offences occurred many times, says court documents.
Thomas is now 66 and lives in Northampton. He admitted to six counts of indecent assault, with the victims being under 14. The hearing didn’t reveal details and his lawyer got him bail.
His lawyer, Timothy Banks, spoke for Thomas, saying that Thomas is sorry and regrets what happened. He said Thomas has been good until now.
Judge Stephen Coupland delayed sentencing until April 10. He said a report doesn’t indicate the final sentence, but Thomas can expect jail time and must register as a sex offender now.
