A couple in their 20s were arrested after €1 million in drugs and cash was seized in a Tallaght raid as part of Operation Tara.

The search happened February 18 in Old Bawn. They found cannabis, cocaine, and ketamine, with the drugs valued at approximately €950,000 in total.
Cops also seized cash, amounting to over €231,000. The man and woman, both in their 20s, are being held in Dublin by Gardai under Operation Tara.
A garda spokesman shared details on the situation, stating that the operation targeted drug distribution under Operation Tara. Community gardai and the Drugs Unit conducted the search of a house on February 18, 2025, in the Old Bawn area, Dublin 24.
Cops seized drugs worth about €950,000, with lab analysis pending. They also seized over €231,000 in cash, bringing the total seizure to over €1 million. The man and woman, in their late 20s, were arrested under drug trafficking laws and are being held at a Dublin garda station as investigations continue.
