Someone saw him climbing into the school grounds. The witness called the police right away. It was on Tuesday, February 18th. Cops quickly went to the school.
They found a shed had been forced open. Some things were missing from inside.
Connor Joe Godfrey, who is 27, got caught. He lives in Eastville. Police arrested him as he climbed the fence. The officers found some of the stolen stuff and gave it back to the school.
Another guy got arrested near the school too, however, they let him go, not charging him.
Godfrey went to court on Thursday, February 20th. He admitted he burglarized the school. He also had heroin and crack cocaine. He is now in jail for 16 weeks. A theft charge got dropped.
