Richard said the Weaver’s event was excellent, allowing him to meet people and share the festival’s vision. The pub night was also enjoyable, with online sales proving very positive, and they both look forward to May.
The festival will take place on May 31 at Strathaven Park, near George Allan Place, where locals can enjoy craft beers from top Scottish breweries.
This event differs from the Round Table Beer Festival by showcasing independent Scottish drinks. Expect a variety of beer, gin, cocktails, and wine, complemented by available street food.
Fraser’s aim is to celebrate craft beers, with street food and entertainment enhancing the party atmosphere. It will be a true community event, with kids able to enjoy face painting, balloons, and Operation Play Outdoors, plus plenty of ice cream.
The festival prioritizes local providers for food, including Country Park Catering, Roasted, and Nether Lethame Farm. Champer Camper, known as local wine traders, will also be in attendance.
