Martin Bailey, 50, of Stone, passed January 24, 2025. He was Phillip and Barbara’s son. Janet raised him from age twelve. He was Elsie’s dad and Amanda’s partner. The service is February 20 at Bradwell Crematorium at 10 am. Donations can go to MIND or mountain rescue.

Theresa Barber, 85, died January 30, 2025. She was Gordon’s wife and Jane’s mum. Darren was her son-in-law. Ellie was her nan. The service is February 21 at 11:30 am. It’s at St Teresa of the Child Jesus Church. Donations can be made to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Frederick Bassett, 75, of Bignall End, died January 22, 2025. He was Kath’s husband and Julie’s dad. Charlotte, Kayleigh, Rebecca, and Lily were his grand kids. The service is February 18 at Bradwell Crematorium at noon. Donations may be made to Douglas Macmillan Hospice too.

Raymond Brayford, 81, of Trentham died December 22, 2024. He was the Ann’s husband. The service will be at Bradwell Crematorium on February 14, 2025 at 12:00.

Gillian Oakes, 81, of Bucknall, died January 30, 2025. David was her beloved husband. Jonathan and James were her children. The funeral service will be March 4 at St Mary’s Church, Bucknall at 10am. Gillian’s memory can be honored at the Salvation Army too.

Frederick Greasley, 86, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. A service to celebrate his life will take place at St Chads Church in Bagnall on February 27 at 10:15am. Betty Scott, age 93 of Madeley passed January 6th, 2025. Service will be on February 21 at Bradwell Crematorium. Family flowers are not required but also donations too. Donations in memory of Betty to RSPB can be placed here.

Madeline Shaw passed peacefully January 26, 2025. Bradwell Crematorium is hosting the service, February 25. Service will be at 12 Noon. Donations towards the Alzheimer’s Society are much appreciated.

David Rigby passed on January 25th 2025. Funeral Cortege will leave February 12th 2025. The Bradwell Crematorium will meet at 11.20am. David’s one request was proper black clothes only. Please give to Coronary Care at the Royal Stoke instead of flowers.
