Pippa Lewitt, 46, died after being found in critical condition. Police are investigating, and arrests have been made.

An ambulance urgently took her to the hospital just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29. Sadly, she passed away soon after arrival. The family shared a loving tribute. Pippa wanted a fresh start after surgery.
Her family said Pippa faced some struggles. She had major abdominal surgery last fall and felt ready to rebuild her life. Sadly, this was not meant to be.
Pippa adored all animals, rescued injured animals and helped them. She deeply cared about everything. Her children were her whole world. Her extended family loved her and will miss her very much.
The family is devastated and asks that people respect their privacy now. Staffordshire Police contacted the IOPC as they had past contact with Pippa Lewitt. Bryan Jones, 50, faces charges that relate to breaching a restraining order.
Jones appeared in court Saturday, February 1 and was released on bail with his next court date to be determined later. A 24-year-old man from the Stafford area was also arrested, suspected of drug dealing, and bailed with conditions. The police investigation is still ongoing.
