Armaan Ahmed, 20, of St Ives, is under strict orders to protect teenage girls. Violations could lead to imprisonment.

He can’t contact girls under 18. This includes indirect contact. Exceptions are daily life or supervised visits. An adult knowing the order must supervise him. He can also never follow young girls.
He needs to tell the police about hotel stays at least five days before. He cannot stay over at homes with girls under 18, and stays cannot exceed 12 hours unless the police allow it.
Further restrictions include that he can’t be near schools or childcare places within twenty meters. Police can inspect his devices, like phones, and he must share passwords if asked.
This order protects people, like other orders do. Breaking this order is a crime that can lead to five years in jail. He is now a registered sex offender.
He must tell police about new internet devices within three days and report job or volunteer applications quickly. Presenting himself at any door is required if a police officer asks, with location updates immediately upon request. Stays somewhere else need police notification within three days, and he must report contact from girls under 18 very fast.
Police say Ahmed is a predator who exploits girls and women often. This order is needed for safety to protect women and girls, and the police aim to stop child exploitation.
The police encourage reporting of any possible exploitation. Contact the police or local authorities about concerns. They want to protect children and prevent harm.
