Alice Aguiar’s parents grieve after the Southport attack, joining Elsie Dot’s and Bebe King’s families in mourning.

Alice’s parents are not yet ready to speak publicly, but Elsie Dot’s parents and Bebe King’s parents gave interviews. The girls died after a Southport knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class last summer.
Jenni and David Stancombe are Elsie Dot’s parents. Bebe King’s parents, who cannot be named for legal reasons, spoke about the tragedy at Hart Space studio. It happened on July 29 last year.
Jenni got a call just before noon from another parent about the class. The parent said someone had stabbed the kids. Jenni rushed to the studio.
The parents want their daughters remembered. Jenni said Elsie was truly one of a kind, while also clarifying she was thirty-five years old.
Bebe’s parents spoke of her warmth and how she connected easily with people. Her mother said she had an innate kindness, and they must live for Bebe and honor her, finding light in the dark.
Both families spoke on Good Morning Britain, describing happy, loving daughters. Bebe’s mother called her mighty and kind. Elsie’s mother said Elsie knew no bad.
Elsie was fearless, according to her mother. Her father described her as brave. Susanna Reid said Alice’s parents aren’t ready but support Bebe and Elsie Dot’s families. Bebe’s parents are anonymous for privacy.
