Family devastated after 7 year old Southport girl dies in horrific attack alongside two others.

Elsie, age seven, died after an attack that happened at a Taylor Swift-themed class. Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, and Bebe King, six, also lost their lives. This happened July 29, 2024 when Axel Rudakubana attacked the class.
Elsie’s parents, Jenni and David, spoke out, appearing on Good Morning Britain. Bebe King’s family was also there, sharing that they feel they’ll never be truly happy again.
Jenni and David feel it’s their duty to continue Elsie’s story. They find small comfort now and then, such as making another girl smile in memory of Elsie, which helps them cope.
Jenni said Taylor Swift asked about Elsie, as meeting Swift would have been a dream for her daughter. Swift even asked for some pictures after they met Elsie’s parents.
Elsie’s parents support a public inquiry that will investigate the murders, said the Mirror. Jenni stated it will hold people accountable for decisions that allowed the attack to happen.
Rudakubana, 18, received a life sentence and must serve at least 52 years. He murdered three girls and tried to kill others, including eight children, Leanne Lucas and John Hayes.
Mr. Justice Goose commented on the sentence, stating Rudakubana would likely never be released. Rudakubana was 17 at the time, preventing the judge from issuing a whole life order.
