A man was hospitalized after a six vehicle crash including a lorry, disrupted traffic near Chelmsford.

Emergency services arrived on Regiment Way around 6 PM. The police went to the scene Monday evening, February 24th. The collision involved an HGV and five cars; it happened at around 6:30 PM on Essex Regiment Way.
Traffic was disrupted for several hours. Police, ambulance, and fire services assisted at the scene. Thankfully, no one had serious injuries, and crews cleared the area by 10 PM. Police are asking for help with the investigation.
The ambulance service sent one ambulance to the scene and took a man to Broomfield Hospital. Firefighters said four vehicles and one HGV crashed. Since no one was trapped, they left the scene with the police.
