Local schoolchildren collaborate on stunning artwork for the town center, showcasing local talent and community bonds.

Year five students made clay self-portraits. These will be part of a big display. Lots of other tiles will join them too. This project included older students. High schoolers from Sidmouth College took part.
The goal is to show off local talent. Organizers want to help the community bond. The art will honor the kids’ creativity. It will stay up for a while.
Lisa Whitworth runs Sidmouth College. She said the primary kids visited and enjoyed this hands-on art project. Creating public art is very special. It lets young people make their mark. Whitworth looks forward to seeing the finished project. She thinks the town will feel proud.
Moria Marder leads the Ted Wragg Trust. She is happy about the collaboration. Sidmouth College works with the art school and nearby grade schools. This gives kids a great chance to express themselves. Marder hopes the art brings everyone together.
