A 28-year-old man was arrested after shots were fired at a house in Old Swan with children present. No injuries reported.
Police have cordoned off the residential street. Many police cars arrived around 3:50 PM. People reported hearing gunshots at a house. Investigators photographed a silver Ford car that sat in the road’s center.
Officers marked evidence on the sidewalks. A window broke, but no one got hurt. Two guys in black ran toward Doric Road; they fled right after the shots.
The police arrested a 28-year-old man and suspect he is connected to the incident. He is being questioned now, while the police are checking CCTV footage. They are also talking to neighbors nearby. This initial probe aims to gather details.
The police chief said it could’ve been worse, as people, even children, were in the house. He wants the culprits found and is sure the community is shocked. He wants people to share info and pledged to protect them.
