A man was arrested in Sittingbourne after allegedly shoplifting four legs of lamb from Sainsbury’s. He faces theft charges.

Cops were patrolling against bad behavior on Sunday, February 23rd, while dealing with some rowdy young people. Someone said meat got stolen from Sainsbury’s on Avenue of Remembrance. CCTV helped police find a suspect on the High Street.
They arrested him and took him into custody, seizing those lamb joints too. The guy’s name is Anthony West. He is 42 and lives on High Street.
He got charged with three thefts of meat and bakery worth £85 and was held in custody, having to go to court the next day. He got bail with conditions and has to be in court again April 11.
The police made four teens leave the area. The teens were causing problems in town and got a stern talking-to in the presence of their parents.
Two boys damaged fake plants and have to write apology letters, Also, they cannot enter The Forum until April 1.
Earlier, police arrested three teens on February 19th and 20th for lighting a trash can on fire. The cops found those suspects too, and they are out on bail now while police still investigate the fire.
