Film premiere at the 2025 Shepton Snowdrops Festival. It features community made “Miracles of Nature” puppet film.

The company engaged the community in the project. About 200 children worked with care home residents. They attended workshops from multiple schools and a care home. People created shadow puppets in a special theater. They explored nature’s everyday miracles. Spider web strength and snowdrop resilience were examples. These appeared in winter season.
Amanda Hirst directs the festival programme. She expressed her delight in sharing this project. The film shows Shepton Mallet’s talent and spirit. The film celebrates nature and snowdrops. It connects different generations through creativity. Hirst thanked Somerset Community Foundation for their help.

The film premieres February 22 at 11 AM. St Peter and St Paul’s Church hosts it. Screenings happen all day long. The festival is on February 21 and 22.
