Robin contributed to many groups, spanning schools, clubs, and associations. He aided the swimming club and scout group, and offered support to the stroke club. In 2014, Robin earned a British Empire Medal for his contributions to the Shepperton Community.
He often said his community was his hobby, reflecting the joy he found in his work. Sexton also noted Robin’s tireless work ethic, always prioritizing his community. Shepperton and Spelthorne truly mattered to him; he was a champion for both places.
