Seven men appeared in court after a disorder in Blackwood. One man was stabbed, but injuries are not life-threatening.

One guy got stabbed during this fight. He needed some stitches for his wound and stayed at the hospital over the weekend. Police say his injuries aren’t life-threatening nor will they greatly change his life.
Seven men showed up in Newport court on Monday. They said their names and addresses.
The men are Bave Hamed, Shahab Husseini, Sardem Ebrahimi, Bryar Muradi, Alan Karimi, Adnan Mohamad, and Krmanj Sadiq. They didn’t plead guilty or not guilty.
The court denied bail to all seven guys. They must next appear in court on March 17. A police boss, Michael Preston, spoke to the public, saying the area is safe currently.
The police think this was a one-time event, unrelated to past local problems. Police thanked everyone for reporting the fight fast, which led to the quick arrest of the seven men. Leaders said Blackwood is still a great place; shops are still open for everyone.
