Police arrested seven people after discovering a suspected chop shop with stolen cars in Oldham.

People reported some weird stuff happening. The police showed up at a garage and found two Ford Fiestas inside. They also found plates from other stolen cars there.
The police think it was a “chop shop” where people take stolen cars apart and sell the parts for money. Four men and three women got arrested. They suspect them of stealing cars and are holding them for questioning.
A police chief named Ian Partington spoke out, saying they believe the garage illegally chopped up cars and sold the parts for profit. Investigators are gathering evidence, and vehicle experts will check it out.
Police want to stop vehicle theft in the area, and finding this chop shop was a great step. Two cars may go back to their owners. Police are working hard to catch the thieves who profit from other people’s losses.
The police want people to watch out and secure their cars better. Ford Fiesta and Transit van thefts are up; they suggest steering locks or wheel clamps. Also, don’t leave valuables in your car.
