She sadly passed away on Sunday, the 9th. Police went to Windram Road around 4:35 AM. They were responding to a call at a house.
Megan’s family wants privacy right now. They said Megan was a loving mom and daughter who cared for everyone. Her death devastated the entire family, leaving a big hole in their lives.
Corey Dryden, age 31, went to court in Jedburgh. He is connected to Megan’s death. Dryden is from Berwickshire and is charged with murder.
He did not enter a plea in court, and the hearing was not public. He is being held in jail.
No new court dates exist yet, but Dryden has a second court appearance next week. This hearing will also be private.
Detective Inspector Laura White spoke about the case, extending her thoughts to Megan’s loved ones. The police continue to investigate and will keep supporting the family.
