Sabina Nessa Murder: Family Angered by Killer’s Albania Transfer Request

Sabina Nessa’s killer wants to go back to Albania. This angers the family of the murdered teacher. Koci Selamaj told his father he wants to fly home to serve his sentence there. A deal between Albania and Britain might allow this. Selamaj was jailed for at least 36 years for killing Sabina in a London park.

Selamaj’s father says his son, who is at Broadmoor, a hospital for criminals, wants a transfer. He needs to finish medical treatment first, telling his dad he wants to recover and then return to Albania.

Britain and Albania have an agreement that allows some jailed convicts to go home. Sabina’s sister, Jebina Islam, thinks Selamaj should stay in the UK, calling him a “coward” and stating she wants him to serve his time there.
