The family of Sabina Nessa is furious over Koci Selamaj’s request to be transferred to Albania to serve his sentence.

Selamaj’s father says his son, who is at Broadmoor, a hospital for criminals, wants a transfer. He needs to finish medical treatment first, telling his dad he wants to recover and then return to Albania.
Britain and Albania have an agreement that allows some jailed convicts to go home. Sabina’s sister, Jebina Islam, thinks Selamaj should stay in the UK, calling him a “coward” and stating she wants him to serve his time there.
Jebina said he committed the crime in the UK, so she wants him to serve the full sentence here. She doesn’t care if his family wants him back, stating he made it easier on himself when he murdered her sister.
Selamaj did not attend his sentencing in 2022 at the Old Bailey court. Jebina thinks he still has power and wants a reduced sentence, believing the family’s needs should come first.
Selamaj lived in Eastbourne and booked a room at the Grand Hotel the day of the murder, where his estranged wife worked. He wanted to have sex with her, but she refused, then he drove to London. He hid in a park in Kidbrooke, Greenwich, and
