Two drivers went to the hospital after a car crash. One driver was later arrested by the police. A Volkswagen Golf and a Renault van crashed on Thursday.

The VW driver was arrested for several suspected offenses. He may have caused serious injury by dangerous driving and driven without insurance. Driving while disqualified is another possible charge, along with the suspicion of driving under the influence. Possessing an offensive weapon is the final suspicion.

Police are investigating this two-vehicle crash. It happened on the A477 at Sentry Cross roundabout just after 8:30 am. The crash involved a dark blue VW Golf and a silver Renault van. Both drivers received hospital treatment but were later released.

Police want to hear from people with information, especially those who saw the crash. Officers particularly want dashcam or CCTV footage from the scene.
