Hey, traffic’s rough in Stoke-on-Trent right now. They’ve got new road work on Victoria Road in Fenton. Temporary lights are making things slow, so expect long lines in both directions.

City Road is already jammed up because they are fixing traffic lights near the A500. Leek Road is also a mess due to a lane closure by the university.

Victoria Road has huge backups now, stretching back to Joiners Square and toward Lime Kiln. City Road’s delays just got worse since the lights are near Aldi and McDonald’s.

These Victoria Road works are happening in Fenton because Eclipse Power Networks is doing electricity work. The city council posted a warning on Facebook, saying it will last until March 10.

People aren’t happy about all the road work, with one person questioning the planning for the City Road and Victoria Road projects. Another comment said the whole city is full of road work.

Someone else said only Stoke-on-Trent would do this, referring to having road work on two major roads simultaneously.
