Hey, listen to this! Road work starts Monday on Scotia Road. It’s going to last about two months. The road is really busy, and they are adding safety improvements.

This road runs between Tunstall and Burslem. Workers will install one new crossing and fix an existing one. This is all happening because of many crashes there.

Locals say the road is super dangerous. People think it’s like a racetrack at night, and a house even got hit three times! The crossing is a big request from residents.

They will put in a zebra crossing between Lidl and Dimensions. Double-yellow lines are going near Federation Road and near Marshall Street. Council will improve visibility too.

Expect temporary traffic lights there, so plan your route ahead of time. The council wants to make roads safer for all people using them.

The council believes Stoke-on-Trent should be safer and that everyone should travel easier, no matter how they travel. They are dedicated to this goal.
