A woman in Altrincham stole a £150 sink from a restaurant bathroom, leaving the owner and staff amused and bewildered.

They checked the CCTV footage, confused by the missing item. A woman walked straight to the bathroom. She then exited with a fuller bag. It looked much larger than before. The staff believe she stole the sink.
Mr. Melman stated the bag seemed full of the sink. He founded Fazenda, a steakhouse, in 2014. This bizarre crime made him laugh; he had never seen anything like it.
He mentioned separate bathrooms for men and women. Each cubicle has a sink for washing hands. The missing sink cost £150. Staff wondered if they let the thief in and if they may have let her use the bathroom.
This event will be memorable for Mr. Melman. He has seen thefts before, but not like this. It has been a decade-long career for him, and people have stolen wine before, but this was unusual.
He couldn’t believe this happened. He could only laugh about it. The sink cost him £150. He cannot do too much about it.
