Haseeb Aziz, dubbed Britain’s worst teen driver, is jailed again after a car crash in Blackburn while fleeing police.

Haseeb Aziz is 19 years old. He never had a driver’s license. He was banned from driving seven times already. This happened in Blackburn soon after a recent prison release.
A cop saw Aziz driving a Renault Clio early one morning. Aziz turned into an alley, said the Mirror. He jumped from the moving car, which then crashed.
Aziz admitted to driving while banned. He got 16 weeks in jail and an 18-month driving ban, to begin after his current ban ends. He must also pass a test after a 2022 crime.
Glenn Anderton is the prosecutor. He said a dog handler saw Aziz. The officer wanted a routine check, noticing a Renault Clio pass by early.
Anderton explained that the Clio turned into an alley. The driver got out while it was still moving, and the car hit a wall. Then, Aziz ran.
A police dog helped catch Aziz. “This is his seventh driving ban,” said Anderton. “He’s never held a real license.”
Daniel Frazer defended Aziz, stating his client is only 19 and must change his behavior. He also noted that jail seems to not be helping him.
Frazer asked Aziz why he drove, but Aziz couldn’t give a good reason.
Aziz got 22 weeks in jail last December. He had many driving crimes, including driving a stolen bike and cars with wrong plates, like VW Polos and Golfs.
The lawyers said driving made him happy then and helped him forget problems. A judge called his record awful for his age, noting that he broke rules while under orders for past, similar crimes.
