Residents reported these issues over a year ago. Sadly, they feel little has changed. The community feels tired and ignored by authorities. They have criticized social housing provider Beyond Housing. Residents want them to enforce tenancy agreements. Property neglect must stop, they claim.

Cleveland Police know about these complaints. They work with the council and housing groups. Their goal is to target those causing problems. Police ask people to keep reporting issues. This helps them gather helpful information. Police raided a property recently, locals confirmed. But, the police didn’t share any more information.

Beyond Housing takes anti-social behavior seriously. They work with partners and inform the police. This way, the police can investigate criminal activity. The provider relies on tips from residents. The police chief said crime is at a five-year low. This is based on a 9.3% decrease in the past year. Reports of anti-social acts fell by 3.3%. However, police still recorded over 17,000 incidents. Police received money for anti-social behavior patrols. These cover 15 council areas in Cleveland. The government also gave funds for local policing. Cleveland will receive enough to hire 20 officers.
