A quad biker in Stoke-on-Trent faces jail after a dangerous high-speed chase through city streets last November.

Dominic Daniels, age 29, didn’t stop for officers. They were worried about his driving on Chell Heath Road. Daniels sped through Kidsgrove and ignored red lights.
Police arrested him, suspecting dangerous driving. He also lacked insurance and was held for motor vehicle theft, specifically a Vauxhall Corsa that vanished in Cheadle last October.
Daniels received his sentence on March 10 at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre. He will spend 32 weeks in jail and cannot drive for three years.
He admitted to dangerous driving and driving without insurance earlier. Chief Inspector Scott McGrath spoke about the case, stating such behavior is unacceptable.
McGrath stated drivers risk others’ safety and mentioned pedestrians were also in danger. He added that riding recklessly can lead to serious harm, so police use various methods to catch offenders.
