A quad biker, Dominic Daniels, raced through Stoke-on-Trent to evade police before being arrested for dangerous driving.

A police helicopter filmed Daniels speeding away on the quad bike. Police wanted him to stop on Chell Heath Road because they worried about his driving. He sped through Kidsgrove and ran red lights.
The police helicopter chased him as he drove onto Little Chell Lane and then into a field. Police arrested him later on suspicion of dangerous driving and having no insurance.
Daniels was also suspected of stealing a car, a Vauxhall Corsa that vanished from Cheadle on October 30 last year.
Daniels, from Thornley Road, Stanfield, received a 32-week jail sentence issued by the court on March 10. He is also prohibited from driving for three years.
He admitted to dangerous driving, having no insurance, and using the vehicle on a public road.
Following the case, Chief Inspector Scott McGrath stated that the behavior is unacceptable and puts people at risk. He emphasized that riders risk injury and prosecution, and police have methodologies to catch offenders later.
