Princess Anne visited Nunny’s Farm in Grimsby, meeting owners and learning about the farm’s animal education programs.

Neil and Joanna started the farm in 2021, and over 100,000 people have visited since. Neil shared their passion with the Princess, talking about educating kids and teaching them about food and animal care.
Joanna said it was an amazing experience, describing the Princess as very kind. She chatted easily with the team, making everyone feel comfortable. After the tour, Princess Anne unveiled a plaque that celebrates her visit to the farm, ensuring it will stay on display there.
A government minister, Georgia Gould MP, visited recently too, joined by Melanie Onn MP. During their visit, they fed the animals and discussed the value of animal therapy.
These visits happened after a tough time for the farm, which rescues unwanted animals and offers education for all ages. They host events for the community, but the farm faced flooding and rising costs. It needs donations to stay open.
