People often queue overnight for the Chicken Sandwich, so the team suggests arriving early on opening day to avoid missing the giveaways.
The menu includes the Chicken Sandwich, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps. These wraps come in Classic, Spicy, and BBQ flavors.
The new restaurant is located at 137-145 High Street and brings 59 new jobs to Sutton. It includes 58 seats, self-service kiosks, and online order collection points.
The chicken marinates for twelve hours using Louisiana herbs and spices on-site. It is hand-breaded and battered, with biscuits and Cajun gravy also available.
The new Saucin’ Boneless and Hot Wings, with flavors like Garlic Parm, BBQ, and Buffalo, arrive opening day. The wings include New Orleans-inspired flavors.
Breakfast starts Saturday, March 8, at 8 am, featuring British classics with a Louisiana twist. Options include the Big Cajun Roll, Cajun Hash Browns and Nutella-topped biscuits.
Breakfast hours are 8am to 11am daily. A breakfast deal costing just £1.99 includes a Chicken Brekkie Roll, Cajun Hash Brown, and a drink, claimable through the Popeyes UK app.
Popeyes started in New Orleans in 1972 and now has over 4,000 restaurants globally. It is a large chicken quick-service restaurant with 50 years of history.
