Mountain rescue asks the public to stay away. Do not try to help search teams. They are searching for a missing woman.

Emergency services search for Jenny. She is 23 years old. Jenny went missing on Tuesday, February 18. Her home is Tow Law, County Durham.

Jenny left her home around 3 p.m. Her home is Barracks Farm. Police think she went to Barnard Castle.

She is white and six feet tall. Jenny has long dark hair. She wore a blue John Deere hoodie and dark jogging bottoms.

Bad weather stopped the search last night. Efforts restarted today on moorland between Eggleston and Stanhope. Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team helps search.

Durham Police get support from other teams, including Kirkby Stephen, Cleveland, North of Tyne, and Northumberland teams. The public should stay away from that area.

A team spokesperson stated they keep helping Durham police look for twenty-three-year-old Jenny, who is missing from Tow Law.

Over thirty trained members are searching, aided by three search dogs, in the area of the B6278 road between Eggleston and Stanhope. This is day two of searching.

Many people offered their help, but people should not try to assist now, as it could slow down the search process. Weather on the moors is getting worse.

Other rescue teams, gamekeepers, and local farmers also assist.

Police also ask people to stay away. While many care and want to help, police are searching the area carefully and more people could hinder the search. Local people should check their land and buildings if they can, as it would be very helpful.

If you see Jenny, call 999 right away.
