Unseen footage reveals urgent call for a firearm at scene of Southport triple murder committed by Axel Rudakubana.

This article discusses a very upsetting event that happened in Southport. Police bodycam footage shows what they found.
On July 29th, a terrible thing occurred. Axel Rudakubana, age 18, killed three young girls: Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar. The girls were at a dance class with a Taylor Swift theme.
Rudakubana received a life sentence and must serve at least 52 years. He also tried to murder eight other children, whose identities are protected. He also attacked Leanne Lucas and John Hayes, a dance instructor and a businessman, respectively.
The BBC released unseen footage showing police arriving at the scene. An officer urgently spoke on his radio, saying things were “kicking off.” A person told him to stay back and that he needed a gun, warning, “He’s got a f** knife.”
Matt Smith from Merseyside Police praised the officers’ bravery. He said they went right through the door and saw Rudakubana on the stairs still holding a knife. Police used a Taser on him and yelled for him to drop it.
Rudakubana got handcuffed by officers and frisked by a police van. Then, police put him inside the van. After this, people put flowers and toys at Southport’s town hall.
The parents of the girls spoke earlier this month, talking about their daughters, who they described as having energy and spark. Bebe’s parents mentioned the community support, which brought light during a dark time.
Bebe’s father described searching before a police officer approached him. She had Bebe’s description. He felt the blood drain from him, knowing what she was going to report. She asked if he was Bebe’s dad and told him that Bebe had died.
Bebe’s mother described her daughter’s spirit, saying Bebe had high energy and connected with people. She had special relationships, and kindness came naturally to her. She had a spark.
