Police seek a witness after someone died in a crash. It happened on February 10 at 7:55 PM in Blackpool at the junction of Mowbray Drive and Plymouth Road. A vehicle hit a man at the pedestrian crossing there.

The man was in his 70s, and he later died in the hospital due to his injuries. Police have not identified him yet, and they need help finding his family.

Cops want to speak to another driver; this vehicle may have driven around the man while he was already on the road before the crash. Police say this driver is only a witness, and they just want to gather more information.

On February 13, police arrested a man in his 70s from Blackpool. He’s in his 70s and from Blackpool. They arrested him for causing death by dangerous driving and for failing to stop after the accident. He was released while they investigate.

An earlier arrest occurred, involving a 43-year-old man; he was released, with no further action pursued. A detective wants the witness driver to come forward, as this person could greatly aid the investigation.
