Police are looking for three men after a murder. Jason Romeo was killed in East London. Raynolph Asante is 22. Rhamyah Bailey-Edwards and Travis Mitchell are 21. The police advise people not to approach these men. They know the men hang out in Hackney and nearby areas.

Jason, who was 20, was stabbed in Hackney on February 18th just before 6 PM. Police arrested two men but then released them. The police consider this a senseless attack, and Jason’s family is heartbroken.

Detective Kelly Allen is leading this investigation and needs the public’s help finding the three men. Allen urges people to call 999 if they see them and thanked Hackney residents for their help.

Police increased patrols and weapons searches, and officers will also check homes in the area. This may be intrusive and disruptive for residents, and the police appreciate everyone’s patience during the investigation.

James Conway is also a police leader. He said Jason’s death devastated the family and is distressing for local communities. It is yet another life lost to knife crime.

Police are working with community partners to address knife crime’s roots. Conway asks young people carrying knives to seek help by talking to a trusted adult, such as a parent, teacher, or youth leader. They can help you make a safe choice to stop carrying a knife.

The police ask that people not approach the three men; if you see them, call 999 right away. When you call, mention reference number 5635 from February 18th to help the police track the information quickly.
