A bad crash sent two people to the hospital. It happened on the A249 near Stockbury. Police are now asking for more witnesses to come forward.

The accident was near Chalky Road. It occurred after 10pm on Tuesday, February 25. Police think other people saw something because this road can be busy even late at night.

Detectives want to speak to specific people. Did you see the BMW as it drove from the M20 junction seven roundabout, heading up Detling Hill toward Sittingbourne? Did you see the Land Rover as it went the other way, using the Chalky Road exit just before the crash?

A man in his 30s rode in the BMW and had to be flown to a London hospital, where he is still in serious condition. The Land Rover driver was a man in his 40s who also suffered serious injuries, but is now back home recovering. A woman in her 30s rode as passenger and had only minor injuries.

Police, ambulances, and firefighters all arrived. The South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service helped at the scene.

Sergeant Chris Oliver-Jones thinks someone knows something. They think someone holds critical info and might have seen the accident.
