Hey, police have a CCTV image related to a Forest Fields robbery attempt. This happened late last year. They need public help to find witnesses.

Cops are looking into a chase where two people with a knife chased a man. These hooded people found him on Clumber Avenue and then showed him the knife. They shoved and kicked him too but he refused to empty his pockets and then ran away.

He wasn’t hurt, thankfully. The incident happened December 9, 2024, around 10:50 AM, and the police learned of this fast.

The police shared a photo from the scene and want other videos from that time. They also want to talk to witnesses; a car drove by during the attempted robbery.

PC Fiona Price spoke about the case, saying that even small details can help find the two hooded guys. Do you have CCTV or dash-cam footage that could show a different view?

The police especially need drivers’ help. If you saw the suspects’ faces clearly, contact the police, she urged. They will then act on your information.

You can call 101 and share information, using incident number 296 from December 9, 2024. You can also report anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling them at 0800 555 111.
