Multiple fires in Trumpington are being investigated as arson. Police seek information and have released CCTV images.

There were many fires in the village recently. Firefighters responded to over seven fires. These fires hit bin sheds and bins. They think someone started them on purpose.
The latest fire happened early Wednesday, February 26th. Flames spread to two bin stores on Cornwell Road and Addenbrooke’s Road. Flats were above both bin sheds.
The Addenbrooke’s Road fire was intense. A window cracked from the heat, and smoke went into the flat. Fortunately, no one got hurt.
Police investigated with the fire service and found similar fires happened since February 17th. Officers think the fires are connected and have started a full investigation.
Fires included one on Addenbrooke’s Road on February 17th. Several bin fires occurred on Perne Road that day. Three more fires broke out on Perne Road on February 20th.
A bin fire happened in Brookfields February 24th. Another was on Addenbrooke’s Road on February 25th.
