Fire crews rushed to Beatty Drive this morning at approximately 5:35 AM. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a dog that had sadly died in the fire.
Police and fire officials have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. They are working collaboratively to gather more information about the incident.

According to the police force no one else was at home during the fire. The dog was the only occupant inside the bungalow at the time.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service dispatched crews from Congleton, Holmes Chapel, and Macclesfield to the scene. They worked to manage the situation.
Firefighters wearing breathing gear used a hose to extinguish the bungalow fire. They then proceeded to turn off the gas and electricity before conducting a thorough search of the entire premises. Sadly, one dog perished in the fire. An investigation into the fire’s cause is underway.
