Thetis Holdings proposes 33 homes west of Berengrave Lane in Rainham. Medway Council to decide by May 27th.

Other homes were recently approved nearby. Some are finished, and one is still being built. Those developments have eight to 60 homes.
The land is about 15,500 square meters. It’s a 20-minute walk to Rainham town center. Right now, it’s open grassland with trees. It is Grade 1 agricultural land.
The land is in a protected area. Building is okay if the landscape isn’t harmed. Building is also okay if the benefits are very important. Houses are already to the north and east.
The plan aims to create a nice community. It should add to the housing supply. It should fit in well with the area. Homes would have two to four bedrooms. Buildings would be one or two stories.
The plan includes 11 two-bedroom homes. Thirteen homes have three bedrooms. Nine homes feature four bedrooms. Parking caters to residents and guests. Some houses have carports or garages. There are open spaces as well.
You can access the homes from Berengrave Lane. A main road runs east to west. Other roads branch off from this main road. A green space will be in the center. Kids will have a playground. Parents can relax in seating areas.
The plan keeps existing trees if possible. They want to add green space. It improves life for residents. It benefits the whole community too.
Medway Council is reviewing the plan. A decision is expected by May 27. You can find it using reference MC/25/0371.
