The Pink Parrot is hosting a fundraiser for a mental health charity after the manager lost friends to suicide.

Ria Cooper manages Pink Parrot bar in Hull. She’s hosting a fun event for Mysterious Minds. The event features DJs, music, and drag queens. There’s also a raffle with great prizes. It starts at 2 PM on February 22nd at Pink Parrot. Entry costs £10, and all money goes to charity.
Ria lost friends to suicide. One friend was her very first. She has faced mental health issues since becoming trans. She always tries to raise money for mental health.
Ria has many Instagram followers. She’s appeared on TV before. When young, she transitioned to female. This made British history.
Stigma caused her mental health issues. She tried living as a gay man. Later, she transitioned back to female. She gained confidence after this time period.
Ria felt societal pressure. She wanted to conform, she said in an older article. She knew who she was, but also wished to be “normal.”
Now, Ria speaks strongly for mental health. Mysterious Minds helped her close friends. These friends lost family. It’s a good and helpful charity. Two amazing women run it.
Chelsey Dalee founded Mysterious Minds. She lost her partner, Jamie Swallow, to suicide in 2017. The charity helps pay for funerals. They create Christmas boxes for kids who lost a parent.
Maiie, a singer from Grimsby, is performing. Willow, a Hull singer, will also perform. She has a popular TikTok. Tilly Sparks, a Hull drag queen, joins the event.
Raffle prizes are plentiful and great. They include vouchers for clinics and bingo. You could win salon or lip filler vouchers also. A signed rugby ball is up for grabs.
You can buy tickets at the door or on Skiddle. Ria set up a GoFundMe page for Minds. Even £1 can help, stated Ria.
