Cervo Lounge in Park Royal closed by Ealing Council after a stabbing. License revoked following multiple violent incidents.

The trouble began early Monday, January 20, around 1:50 AM. Someone approached the bar, and another person grabbed him. A brawl then erupted at the lounge.
Reports say the fight grew fast. People grabbed shisha poles and used other items as weapons. About twenty people were involved; glasses and chairs became weapons, too.
During the fight, someone fell, and people allegedly stomped on him. He was stabbed four times in the shoulder and had cuts and puncture wounds on his fingers. A knife seemed to be used.
The injured man went to the hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening. He declined to speak to the police and would not help with inquiries, which worried police officers. The venue staff started cleaning up, but officers told them to protect the scene.
A police barrister spoke to the council. James Rankin mentioned other fights at Cervo Lounge. Five violent events occurred between June and January, all involving assaults with weapons. These took place in the shisha area.
The council had warned the lounge before. In May 2023, they issued a notice because the owners added a shisha area without getting proper permission.
Ealing Council revoked their license Wednesday, February 19.
The owners appealed the council’s notice, but their appeal got rejected. They had three months to stop running the lounge.
The council asked them to remove some structures and restore the place to its original state. All the recent violent incidents were in the shisha area.
The operators said they would give up their license. This claim occurred at a January hearing, but by February 19, this did not happen. No one from the lounge attended the hearing.
