Benjamin Vivian-Hucker, 22, jailed 13.5 years for child sex crimes and rape, after meeting victims online in Bristol and Bath.

A court found him guilty last September. He got sentenced last Friday. The judge called him a danger, and he is jailed for 13 and a half years.
He was guilty of lots of things, including child sex crimes and rape. He also possessed indecent images and broke a sexual risk order.
The victims’ statements were read in court. One said it caused “profound damage,” and her life will never be the same. She felt consumed by guilt and hid the pain from everyone.
Even now, it haunts her. Some days it is manageable, while other days, she feels overwhelmed. It took her over a year to process it. She lived in denial at first and even blamed herself.
Flashbacks began when she faced it, and then she saw everyone as a threat. She hopes Ben understands her pain and the damage he caused, as her life changed and won’t be what it was.
The other victim had panic attacks. She could not leave her house or go to work. The assault triggered flashbacks, and she needed therapy to move forward.
Judge Cullum called him a dangerous offender who poses a risk of repeat offenses.
A detective praised the victims’ bravery. They reported the crimes and went through a tough court process. Justice happened for them. He showed disregard for women and girls, and his actions have had consequences. Their bravery helped remove him from the streets.
