New estate with 135 homes & employment land likely approved this week in Market Bosworth by the planning committee.

The land is off Station Road in Market Bosworth. The plan includes 135 homes, and the employment land will border existing businesses. Miller Homes wants full permission for homes, but they seek outline approval for employment land only. The planning committee must approve details later.
The council planning team seems ready to back the homes. They meet on Tuesday, February 18. The estate will have various sizes, including one, two, three, and four-bedroom houses.
The council planned for up to 100 homes there as part of the Market Bosworth Masterplan. Two other big housing plans exist. Richborough wants to build nearly 130 homes nearby, while Gladman Developments proposes 100 homes on Shenton Lane.
Market Bosworth has about 2,000 people. Over 360 homes are planned in total. The town’s population could grow considerably.
They will decide on the Miller Homes plan soon. The meeting is Tuesday, February 18, at 6:30 pm at the Hinckley Hub. The meeting will be streamed online too.
