Lockers blocked a disabled parking space at a One Stop in Nottinghamshire. The store apologizes for the “installation error”.

The One Stop shop in Ruddington has a car park. On February 2nd, lockers replaced the accessible space. People use the lockers for online shopping parcels. This is the second locker set in Ruddington; the Co-op, a four-minute walk away, also has them.
People say disabled folks can’t use the shop now as they cannot access it. The store chain, owned by Tesco, apologized and will move the locker soon. They said the locker was placed there by mistake during installation and apologized for the trouble this error caused.
Local disability groups contacted One Stop and Tesco. They voiced concerns but got no reply. Jemma Winwood works at Accessibility Matters. She tried to contact the shop.
She said the lockers prevent disabled customers from shopping, as they need space to use aids and access their vehicles. She offered advice on making the store accessible.
Another InPost locker was removed nearby. Radcliffe-on-Trent residents complained to the council, which led to its removal.
