Pattison claimed he wanted to shock his workmates. So, he shared photos of kids being abused. He said he got sent the illegal images first. The images also showed sex with an animal.
Pattison confessed to several charges. He shared five obscene, extreme photos. He had 49 photos of sex with animals. He also made indecent images of children. Possessing photos of explicit acts was another charge.
These acts could seriously hurt someone. He sent indecent photos of children too. His lawyer explained Pattison’s reasons in court. Friends sent him these images to shock him, he said. Pattison then sent them onward. He wanted to shock his own friends, too. That’s what he told the court.
Judge Joanne Kidd gave Pattison a sentence. It was a 12-month prison term, not enforced. It’s suspended for two years instead. He must do 150 hours of unpaid work. He also has to register as a sex offender for ten years. Pattison lives on High Newham Road, Stockton.
