The Ned Ludd pub in Nottingham closes soon. Customers are sad about the decision. Property developers will turn it into offices. PKL Investments Limited will handle the conversion.

People loved the pub’s relaxed vibe. Many will miss the welcoming team and the great Sunday lunches. Nottingham City Council approved the plan last year.

The closing date is March 30th. Some called it their favorite Nottingham pub, feeling heartbroken by the news. One person joked about closing pubs for offices.

The owners, Adam and Amanda Cropper, opened a new bar called Ned’s Cavern. It is across the street and has been open since November.

Many will miss the pub’s Sunday roasts. One person said it was the only place he went. He hopes the food moves to Ned’s Cavern now.

A CAMRA member said the pub was popular and always had a good ale selection. Many different people met there, making its closing a real shame.

Some people do not mind the closing, saying it is not a big loss. They believe good management and staff create a good pub, and they are already across the street.

The general manager posted an emotional message, noting the last day is March 30th. He loved serving customers for seven years and thanked everyone for their support.

They will have last quizzes and a closing party. Ned’s Cavern will be their new home, and he hopes to see everyone there. The pub was previously offices.

It was once an Indian restaurant called Spice Lounge. Great Northern Inns first opened it in October 2013. It was named after Ned Ludd. Nottingham Brewery acquired it later, before the Croppers took over.
