The Ned Ludd pub in Nottingham will close on March 30th, turning into office space after seven years of service.

PKL Investments received approval to change the pub, turning the ground floor and basement into offices for healthcare businesses. The Nottingham City Council approved the conversion.
The pub’s owners, Amanda and Adam Cropper, opened Ned’s Cavern across the street, which has been open since last November. Patrons can play pool and darts there.
General manager Jordan Spencer shared the news online, thanking everyone for their support. The pub served customers for seven years, creating incredible memories together.
Spencer mentioned upcoming quizzes and a final party, with Ned’s Cavern as the new location. He hopes to see everyone there.
Despite a petition to save the pub, many expressed sadness about the closure. Some called it a unique pub and venue, marking the end of an era and calling it brilliant.
One person described it as a home since 2017, valuing the friends and food. Some will miss the Sunday dinners, with one person joking it was the “best bus stop” due to missed buses while there.
