Zoe Ann Din, 36, was found dead near a pub in Seghill. An inquest revealed the cause was hanging with alcohol and drugs in her system.
An inquest occurred at Northumberland Coroner’s Court. The coroner reported her death was due to hanging. The report also showed alcohol and cocaine in her system.
The coroner spoke about a statement from Zoe’s wife, Kirsti. Zoe struggled with mental health, alcohol, and drugs. She also faced some personal issues.
A neighbor near the pub gave a statement. She heard someone shout, “I’ve found her, I’ve found Zoe.” The neighbor saw Zoe slumped over a wall in the pub garden. This happened the morning they discovered Zoe’s body.
Zoe had contact with a psychiatric team twice, once in 2008 and again in 2022. The NHS Trust team assisted her.
The coroner concluded the inquest. He ruled Zoe died because of her own actions. Her judgment was impaired at the time because she had drugs and alcohol in her system. She was found dead by the pub.
