Four restaurants retain Michelin stars! Restaurant Pine also keeps its Green Star. Forge earns its first star and Green Star.

Hey, guess what happened at the Michelin awards? It was in Glasgow at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Chefs celebrated British food.

They gave out 22 new One Star awards. Five got Green Stars, and three got Two Stars. Moor Hall in Lancashire got Three Stars. Thirty-six got Bib Gourmand awards.

Michelin picked 1,147 restaurants for their guide. The North East did great! Four restaurants kept their stars. These are Restaurant Pine, Hjem, House of Tides, and Solstice.

Restaurant Pine kept its Green Star too. Forge, near Scotch Corner, got its first star. Siân Byerley owns Restaurant Pine. She said the team worked super hard. She’s proud of their Michelin accolades.

The region is becoming known for good food. Talented people are helping out. They want the area to be a great place.

Gwendal Poullennec directs the Michelin Guides. He’s thrilled by the guide’s strong year. Chefs show talent and commitment. Forge also has both a regular and Green star.

Forge is located on the Middleton Lodge Estate. Judges said it shows sustainable food well.
