Enforcement begins at 26 mph right now.
They will review this in the spring.
We don’t know why offenses are down just yet.
Maybe drivers are following the speed limit more.
Or maybe GoSafe is catching fewer drivers.
Local groups are checking many 20 mph roads.
They will decide if some roads go back to 30 mph.
The 20 mph limit helped reduce crashes.
Serious injuries and deaths also decreased.
Yet, many people don’t like the new speed limit there.
Expect many roads to go back to 30 mph soon.
